I'd like to thank everyone for their participation so far. so far I've got a dozen lists submitted. enough for me to proceed with this countdown. if anyone still wants to submit a list they still have a few days and I'll probably accept it until I actually start the countdown.

I haven't put too much thought into it, and I'm not including a 1965 list because I haven't seen enough to list that many truly brilliant films from the year. I've just done 5 for each of the other years as it just makes the list simpler. I think all the following films are remarkable -

Perhaps so, I have actually been catching up on films from those years, watched Rocky Horror and Dog Day Afternoon in the last couple days. Dog Day Afternoon is fantastic!

Lets look back 50 years ago and take a look at what films have stood the test of time, and endured long enough to have a place in the top 10 of 1965 (according to BOT anyways).  there was a total of 248 edible films submitted and 29 films were listed for the year of 1965.
