Possibly the most controversial film in the countdown some people love Sith, some hate it. almost all would agree it is by far the best of the prequel trilogy, while the previous instalments were lodged down with wooden dialogue, over exposition and a extremely awkward romance. George Lucas appears to finally tell the story he was meaning to from the beginning, Anakin's fall from grace distant into darkness and ultimately transformation into Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader. despite the clumping together of all prequels as terrible films many fans love to do. the film was received positively by critics, in fact some even hailed it the best star wars film since "Empire Strikes Back" it was also the highest grossing film of 2005 with over $380m. While there are still flaws in Sith, and it's acting, the performances of Ewan McGregor and Ian McDiarmid were praised. as was the overall darker, more mature take of the film.

*Revenge of the Sith was nominated for Best Makeup at the Oscars.

Revenge of the Sith was the first film in the star wars series to receive a PG-13 rating. a trend that would continue with JJ Abrams "Force Awakens"

Of course, the only injustice is that it's a better film than any of those currently listed ahead of it. :P

I said this countdown was controversial. I haven't seen KKBB. so I have no opinion of it.

The critics are right about Kingdom of Heaven. One of Ridley's worst films.

I didn't like it when I saw it, but I was like 14 and had this strange fear of leprosy at the time. :P

Kingdom of Heaven's Director's Cut is easily in Scott's top 5.

Alien

Blade Runner

Thelma & Louise

Gladiator

Black Hawk Down

The Martian

2 of these film are worse than KoH?

It's in his top 5 worst movies with 1492, Robin Hood/Prometheus, The Conselour and Exodus.

Goblet of Fire is OK, but it's extremely rushed.
