Maybe it won't stop a 1,035B, but last weekend Aladdin made 2.8M according to Deadline's Nancy Tartaglione, and this weekend report doesn't even mention Aladdin, and the movie reported as the smallest bo weekend is one with 900k ... so Aladdin should have come below that.

In fact, last weekend Deadline reported an OS total for Aladdin of 682.5M, but today at BOM you can see it's at 682.2M. Also, domestically, last weekend dropped 62.3%, and this weekend dropped almost 60% (and at BOM it isn't even shown in the daily numbers calendar).

So considering this we Aladdin made those 900k the smallest movie Deadline reported, it's declined a 68% from last weekend. And with same 60% decline domestically ... I don't expect Aladdin to add much  more to those current 1,035 B

Maybe within some weeks BOM will make a final addition to give final actual numbers, and add up some 4 or 5M extra, but I'd say it's pretty done everywhere.

It made around 3.5M in japan due to Obon week and around 1.5M in South korea last week + the rest around 2-3M. Thats around 8M OS addition

During Obon weekdays mon-fri, Aladdin made 1.9M, and this past weekend sat-sun Aladdin made 0.5M, that's a 2.4M in the last 7 days (with the biggest box office days of the year in Japan). Corpse estimates Aladdin can make some 2M max. extra in Japan till the end of its run.

As per SK and "the rest" I don't know how to check those numbers. Deadline keeps muted about its international add for this last week for Aladdin, as well as BOT. Maybe today when actuals come in, they will update Aladdin os numbers.

But it seems to me that Aladdin numbers os are so small in the markets that they stopped delivering those numbers, and will wait some weeks to just make a final update.

I just hope that none of sequels will give Aladdin and Jasmine kids and that Genie will go on an adventure with A&J without his kids. Kids are so annoying in adventure movies. I fear for Avatar sequels cause they are full of kid characters. HP, The Losers and early GOT worked but that's rare.

BOT updated Aladdin international numbers, and from monday to sunday, it added 4.6M (not 😎 from which 2.4 came from Japan only (due to the Obon week, harsh drops expected next week). So 2.2 from the rest of the world excluding Japan (again, that's 7 days count).

Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic:  $353,537,257    34.0%
Foreign:  $686,910,107    66.0%

Worldwide:  $1,040,447,364

Deleted song "Desert Moon" just went up on YouTube.

Spoiler:

Spoiler

It's the song that their Mother's played to them when they were kids - Jasmine plays the first few bars in Aladdin's humble abode. From the lyrics, my guess is it was supposed to play when Jasmine was waiting for Aladdin "when the moon is above the minaret" but did not show up because Jafar had taken him away.

News: Aladdin and the Lion king remastered games coming out in october this year..aladdin_lion_king_remasters.png

News of the announcement first surfaced via Twitter user @wolverinefactor, and was followed up by GameXplain with an off-screen image (above). A separate source has corroborated and supplied additional information to Gematsu.

Both Aladdin and The Lion King are reportedly playable in original and 1080p resolutions, and include their original soundtracks. New features include the ability to fast-forward and rewind to jump to any part of the game, as well as have the game itself take over to show the player how to clear the stage.

As this news was presented at the 2019 GME Conference, which is a GameStop exhibition, it is currently unknown whether the collection is also planned for PC. However, given that it will be available on all current consoles, it will likely also be available on PC.

I remember people were excited for the ducktales remastered and it looked absolutely amazing graphic wise and game story. Having Aladdin and the Lion king remastered means 100 times Ducktales $$$$$$$

Aladdin & The Lion king will make more money on merchandise and games this year then Box office.

--------

The 16-bit platformers from the early 1990s have been updated with HD visuals for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Disney is re-releasing two classic games from the early '90s, Aladdin and The Lion King.

Originally released on the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo consoles in 1993 and 1994, respectively, Aladdin and The Lion King were popular platforming games launched as tie-ins to the big screen adventures. Both titles sold well over 1 million units worldwide, with Aladdin actually delivering the third-best sales of any game for the Genesis console with four million total units sold.

The new re-release, a package including both games titled Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King, will launch this fall on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and features upgraded HD graphics, instant save states and a rewind button that allows players to back up to 15 seconds of gameplay and a new, previously unreleased "final cut" of Aladdin as well as a "trade show demo" of the title not made public since 1993.

The collection will feature versions of the games from the Genesis, Game Boy and Super Game Boy releases, as well as the Super Nintendo version of The Lion King. Additionally, the Disney Classic Games collection features behind-the-scenes interviews and art galleries highlighting the original development of the games.

The timing for the release is apt, given that remakes of both Aladdin andThe Lion King have been released by Disney this year, both of which earned more than $1 billion at the box office.

Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King will be available for $29.99.
