SultanOfWhat
To the people at The Numbers:Now, eventually you do plan to have BLU-RAY SALES FIGURES on your BLU-RAY SALES CHART...RIGHT?
Lordmandeep
One thing I have noticed is Home Video Sales for movies for males mostly have fallen off a cliff. For example TF2 sold about what 13-14 million copies on DVD and Video..TF3 sold maybe 6-7 million total...Just loook at what a lot of male centric action movies have sold between 2009 and before and now. John Marston
if Avengers didn't sell that well then I lose all interest in home video sales
MrPink
Piracy is increasing in a big way. It's not just piracy, it's really more about the movie to digital formats. On Demand, streaming, etc are cutting into home video probably more than piracy is.

lab276
I wonder where the hell did that 7m number come from?Wasn't it because it was released with fairly few days to go in the week? So 7m might be a prediction for its first seven days which would in fact go over two weeks.
Fake
The-numbers has lost it. Their DVD figures seems right, but Blu-ray figures for every film seems wrong. For example, if Avengers sold 2.086m DVDs, then with the 72% BR share reported, it would calculate to 5.37m BRs.If TDKRp1 sold 60.5k DVDs, then with 71% BR share reported, it would calculate to 148k BRs.
