Well, worst case scenario is Grudge Match numbers. I really thought that movie would do better than it did in the end. Rocky vs Raging Bull should have been promoted better.

Having said that, I'm also disappointed because every single time I hear about the movie, I think someone spun off Creed from The Office into his own solo feature. I get excited until I realized that no, this is a Rocky movie.

 

 

I'd totally watch a boxing movie with this Creed though!

My logic says no, but I love Rocky and it's fun to be in baumer's club, so I'm in. Don't see why it couldn't have a leggy run if the film is good. I'd consider 100m a success for this club, but the heck I'm in.

WAY OUT. I dont think fan base is that big and dont think its good release date for this kind of movie. Should have opened in January post SW7 mania.

 

For now I would say 60-70m domestic and 200m WW.

I watched Rocky Balboa last night and it still floors me.  It did well, and this was coming off of Stallone basically being a nobody for years.  He's obviously not a Hollywood heavyweight anymore but Rocky is special.  People love the character and I think they are going to flock to this one.

Stallone is nothing in 2015 the thing that could draw people is Michael B. Jordan not Stallone if this was 1995 yes I would say Stallone.
