Surprised Bryce is back. No need to see her any longer. Hopefully she gets swallowed whole in the opening act.

Assuming there's no Jurassic World park anymore, seems like her main justification to be included in the sequel is probably because she's Owen's gf / wife.

Honestly, while I like BDH, I sort of hoped they'd write her out of a sequel. I think they could find a female lead that would have better chemistry with Pratt.

Chris Pratt getting dat 25M paycheck I bet. Bryce Dallas Howard should get a big paycheck as well.

I always think Dallas Buyers Club when someone mentions Bryce Dallas Howard.

It'll pass titanic.

It's daily numbers are similar to TA at this stage. TA added 47m more. JW needs ~53m more.

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/showdowns/chart/?view=daily&id=usblockbuster.htm

I don't think it can do it without a push from the studio. Will be close.

Edit: Actually TA also got a push at the end. Went from 0.115m to 1.9m in the 18th weekend. JW will need a push like that for a 2-3 weekends.

Maybe it's because I'm an adjusted for inflation/tickets sold whore. Maybe it's because I was old enough to follow Titanic's original run. All I know is whenever I read "pass Titanic", I cringe.

If it happens, it'll only be the second time since Titanic's release that its total would be passed (third time if you don't count the re-release). And from an admissions standpoint, its run will likely never be matched.

I liked Titanic but only went in H.S. cause my date wanted to see it. I liked it and all but I'm not attached to that film.

Since JW passed Avengers, a genre I love, I'm fine with another of my teen franchise favs passing Titanic.

Go get them Rex!!
