Uruguay is the first country to start winter holidays, crazy numbers incoming and Toy Story seems to overshadow SLOP with amazing hold after record OW, incredible. Chile and Argentina holidays start will be in mid-late July, and it's soooo cold that will help movies

In Latin America as a region, Toy Story 4 is now the highest ever animated release in the region as well as the highest industry grossing film of all time in Argentina and the No. 2 highest grossing industry film ever in Mexico, behind only Avengers: Endgame. It fell by just 26% to cume $170.1M so far. Notable holds were seen in Argentina (-3%), Chile (-11%), Brazil (-15%) and Mexico (-37%).

The estimated regional cume for The Lion King now $123M with the movie already the highest grossing Disney-branded live-action release in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Central America, Trinidad, Uruguay and Paraguay.

 

In Latin America, where Woody and the gang have really excelled, the region’s total is $190.2M. Toy Story 4 is the No. 1 ever release in Argentina, No. 2 in Mexico, Chile and Colombia and No. 3 in Bolivia.

The Latin America cume for The Lion King is now an estimated $158M. Simba was still tops in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Venezuela this session. The Lion King also now has bragging rights as the highest grossing Disney-branded live-action film in the region and in each of its markets. In Brazil, it’s become the 3rd highest grossing film ever. It is also the 5th highest grossing film in Mexico and Peru.

 

Regional cumes for Toy Story 4 include Latin America’s $194M for the top animated release ever. In Mexico, Forky just trashed records to become the No. 1 film ever in terms of admissions.

As for Latin America, the total there for The Lion King is now $174M with continuing No. 1s in Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Venezuela. In Brazil, Peru and Colombia, TLK is the 3rd highest grossing film ever. It is also the 5th highest grossing film in Mexico.

 

TS4 is the No. 1 animated release ever with a regional $196M.

In Latin America, The Lion King is the #4 biggest industry film by admissions. It remained as #1 position at weekend chart in Chile(dropped 19%), Peru (down 35%), Ecuador, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay and Venezuela and #2 in Brazil, Argentina and Colombia.

 

Latin America TOP 3 admission is Endgame, TY4 and FF7.
