The three Bourne films that opened during this time of year dropped between 24-33% on Sunday.  If the Fri and Sat numbers don't increase, that's a 21% decrease from Sat to Sun. Pretty impressive.

Tom cruise has 16 movies over 100 mil domestic. And 22 movies over 200 mil ww. That is the definition of not box office poison.

What in the actual fuck with these idiotic posts?

Spielberg + Cruise + Great story + Great marketing.

Had very high hopes. Too mad the movie was crap.

That movie was insanely hyped prior to release. Like outgrossing ET high predictions. Despite the fact that it still had a great gross, nearly everyone was considering the gross disappointing at the time because that's how high expectations were. I'm sure it would have hit 300 easily if it had been a better movie and Tom Cruise backlash hadn't already started prior to the release (iirc).
