ANT-MAN took in $1.89M on Monday. Domestic total stands at $134.22M. #AntMan

Looking good still for Ant-Man. Another $2m likely made on Discount Tuesday. May as well call it $136.2m domestic.

HaHa, who was that poster claiming it wouldn't make $150m last week? It's going to go past $140m with ease this weekend alone.

Still though Rogue Nation could be quite close to 70 today. That's not bad holding power is gonna be interesting for this.

About 9% higher than Ant-Man and it's audience skews older so I expect a bigger Friday jump.  Could do around $30m it's 2nd w/e (which would be more than EOT opened to)

I think this link has the poster you were referring to time stamped 1:59pm:  http://forums.boxofficetheory.com/topic/19682-tuesday-s-inside-a-pixelated-trainwreck-in-a-paper-towns-world-by-ant-mans-minions-using-their-southpaws/page-3

Looks like a weekend movie. I am expecting to have sub-50% drop this weekend for something very close to $30M.

In order for RN to hit close to $70M by Monday it needs to do more than $10M. Unfortunately MIRN is made for

older audience which does not flood the theaters or camp out like Twilight or Marvel crowds.

I wonder how much Shaun is gonna affect IO, which will pass JW's comparative dailies today and is closing in on American Sniper's cumulative tally. It has a lot of life left for a film in less than 2k screens.

If Minions didn't effect it Shaun won't either. It'll have its normal 30-40% drop.

I expect it will be somewhere between the effect The Nut Job had on Frozen, and the effect The Lego Movie had on Frozen. That is to say, somewhere between nothing and nothing.

For USA date changed to 5-Aug  on 30-Jun, Can (diff distributor) changed 5-Aug on 21-Jul, PR opens 6-Aug changed 21-Jul

So release dates could potentially be different in Canada than USA? It took almost a month before Canada moved dates for Shaun as well; does that happen often?

Yeah can be, Quebec can even be different than rest of Canada and some films can open before US some after, if its before 95% of the time you never see grosses before the US opening and even then it may/may not get included. It happens more with foreign films

also PR  for starters opens films on a Thursday not Friday (Same in Guam) and PR can open later than mainland USA if its same weekend then Thursday grosses (Same with Guam) are included in Friday.

Only $100K behind San Andreas, gonna be a close one down to when both movies are removed from the theaters.

But Max just got it's dollar/value theater expansion 2 weeks ago, while San Andreas hasn't yet. I expect SA to torpedo past MM once it get it's expansion.
