Isn't that the point? The first one was comedic in nature especially given that Robin Williams was the lead.

I actually liked the first film, being the perfect age for it, but if they're relying on any sense of nostalgia from my generation I think they're going to be badly disappointed.

lol right. They could have cast the teenagers better. I was confused I thought they were adults who were in high school for some strange reason
