Wants to be Pirates and Mummy but gives off Dora vibes. However, after Aladdin's lame promos making way to stellar boxoffice, who's to say how this will really pan out even if it doesn't reach giddy heights.

I miss fun summer period adventure movies like The Mummy or the first PotC so this could be fun. But the Rock ain't no Brendan Fraser 😕

Funny thing is, maybe a while back I would have replied with "Said no one, ever", but now... well, I'm kinda sick of The Rock, and the chemistry of the cast in those first two Mummy movies was sooo good.

This is so well said. I think that chemistry is there but they need to cut a better trailer. Blunt's character is clearly an Evelyn knock off.

Pirates of the Caribbean this is not. This has Tomorrowland written all over it.

No, Tomorrowland has a completely different vibe and never look that fun.

This seems like a possible huge crowd-pleaser, even if it’s not the most original thing ever.

I concur with The Mummy comparisons, but this would benefit from a release date in May or June. The Mummy was released at a perfect time. I just got out of school. We wanted a high adventure popcorn film to make us forget the doldrums of school. The Mummy provided everything in spades for that perfect sense of escapism.  Here we are 20 years later celebrating that film's anniversary. Don't be afraid of releasing this type of film around the same time as other comic book films. Grow some balls, Disney. It looks like the type of high camp tongue in cheek entertainment we want during the early days of summer.
