received terrible reviews, earned just $10.633m on its opening weekend. It played 51% female, 57% 25 years old and younger, 22% Hispanic, 23%, African-American, and 42% Caucasian.

American Ultra always felt kind of direct to video.

Plus action movie fans don't want to watch a stoner protagonist and stoners rarely unite to support a single movie.

I'm an action fan. I don't care who's doing the action so long as it's good.

This just looked like the time Chuck had the Intersect in his head mixed in with some weed.
