I'll probably pass on this even though it has very obvious Psycho vibes down to even some of the music which is very similar.

Lovin' the Psycho vibes here. The January date gives me a little trepidation, but seeing Taylor-Joy and McAvoy in a movie together is good enough of a reason to buy a ticket.

The girl is the one with the split personality

Was my first thought too - hope it's something more than this. Though this would still be above the Happening twist.

Already from the trailer, we're miles away from the awful "After Earth", "The Last Airbender" or "The Happening".

This could be very good. I predict at "The Visit" level, but I hope even better. I doubt Shyamalan will get back to the level of his first masterpieces, but who knows.

McAvoy seems amazing anyway.

I truly hope that the whole "it's the girl who has the multiple personalities" is not what ends up happening. That would be so obvious. I just hope that there's no twist... Just give us a nice, scary, suspenseful thriller.

Now that I think about it, I would love for there to be a twist. I wish that the twist were that McAvoy is not diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder, but that there were indeed 23 people with his face lurking around the house in which the girls are trapped.

The twist is that none of the various twists you're predicting will be the real twist of the film.

The real twist for me would be if James Newton Howard isn't the composer of this film, and in that case I would be mad. Damn, even The Last Airbender had a good thing, and that was his music.
