Everest climbed up to $120.8 million overseas after an $8.1 million weekend in 65 territories. The film's global total has now reached $159 million with China and Japan set for release in early November.

Everest added $3.9 million from 65 overseas territories this weekend. Universal’s thriller has now climbed to $126.6 million overseas and $167.35 worldwide. Everest has two more releases: China on November 3 and Japan on November 6.

Everest added an additional $13.1 million from 46 overseas markets this weekend, bringing the international total to $148.1 million and the worldwide total to $190.9 million. Universal’s action film opened in China and Japan this weekend, its final two territories. China opened Tuesday and has grossed a disappointing $11.6 million in 6 days, while Japan debuted with a 3-day $1.4 million cume, on par with Captain Phillips.

As it climbs towards $200M worldwide, Everest from Universal, Working Title, Cross Creek and Walden Media grossed an estimated $1.9M in 46 territories. The offshore gross is now $155.3M for a worldwide total of $198.4M. The China total is now $15.4M and Japan is holding strong in its second weekend at No. 2. The frame is estimate at $1.1M for a 9-day total of $4M.
