An enjoyable and suspenseful film. Wish there was a posted budget to gauge it's run better. I found Owen Wilson believable in this rather dramatic role. 

It's a renter in my book(no scenes scream "see me on the BIG SCREEN") but still ended up seeing it over the Labor Day weekend.

It couldn't be that much since Weinstein picked up the US rights for $5m

I do not know how reliable they are, but that is what I found with a fast search engine thingy:

 

 

“No Escape,” the action thriller starring Owen Wilson and Pierce Brosnan, opened on Wednesday with an OK $1.2M, and is looking to run away with $8M for the weekend. The Weinstein Company bought the rights for $5M, so they’re probably fine with that.
