Going to see this on the 25th, looking forward to it. I really enjoyed Godzilla 2014 and Skull Island, KotM was not one I liked as much but trailers for this have been hype and I’m glad I’m going to be watching it on a massive screen.

 

Still team Godzilla all the way!

This movie is really only 113 minutes long? Man, after watching the Snyder Cut, I can no longer fathom watching a big budget movie that short.

GvK is by far the most buzzed movie since pandemic era, easily carrying more buzz than ww84 or tenet leading up to its release. I have been seeing its meme post or trailer or poster across social media.

Rewatched Kong Skull Island and idk why I disliked it initially cause on rewatch it's so much fun. Ok maybe John C Reilly is over the top but I like the movie doesn't take itself too seriously unlike the two Godzilla films.

They´re probably expecting good reviews since they didn´t hold the embargo until the US release date.

Sounds like critical response will be tepid at best but reviews weren't strong for KOTM either and I loved that film.
