The only movie to drop worse this past weekend was Doctor Sleep. However, at least DS is a week older AND still maintained a better PTA. CA, on the other hand, is in only its 2nd weekend and was the only film in the top 17 for the weekend to have less than a $1,000 PTA ($937).

 

An ugly bomb for sure. In fact, November has had a couple of them. Thank goodness we're through those first 3 weeks of November, and may future Novembers look a lot better than this one.

It does have a few big markets to go, like UK, France, Germany, Spain, Mexico and Italy. So maybe with the (tiny) holdovers, smaller countries and those markets.

At least SONY had the brains to keep the budget really low on this,so even it fails to get it's costs back, they won't lose a lot of money.

It almost a throw away film..if it was a hit you not only had successful film but  a new franchsie, if it failed no great loss.

Went to see this tonight. 
 

It’s absolutely nothing compared to the last two films, and I’m glad those actresses didn’t appear in this. 
 

Kristen Stewart was the highlight. Never thought I’d say that. Ella Balinska and Banks both put me off big time. 
 

The trailers let the film down though, they should’ve showed more of the fight choreography and the actual missions.

felt this was a sure shot success. 200 ww looked locked to me (something like 55 dom + 110 os-ch + 35 ch) on 55-60 prod budget.

 

(at one point thought 30 ow and 100 dom was possible like DA and Hustlers break-out but that was over the top wishful.)
