Wow. Weinstein has it rough right now.

One of the reasons I like the per studio numbers is: sometimes some of them do not earn a lot.

Or how many movies they do 'juggle' at the same time. Like WB seems to have quite a few out at the same time the whole year around.

Only a complement to the normal chart

I think no Disney numbers today, both ~ 'actual' movies seem - starting this weekend - only getting reports for weekends / weekly (like AoU since quite some time too too)

Hmmm I think this note might be interesting to get to read from time to time for the newbes

Boxofficemojo.com has this written under their BO daily charts:

NOTE:

If daily grosses stop for a movie, it means that the respective studio is no longer tracking it on a daily basis. The exceptions are New Line, Miramax/Dimension and Sony Pictures Classics. They don't do official daily box office, and estimates are made for their movies based on partial data in order to fill out the top 12. Because of this, movies from these studios are more apt to disappear from the daily chart.

The same counts for Broad Green Pictures (recently / actual e.g. A Walk in the Woods, Learning to Drive), they seem to give out rather seldomly their numbers, so their details are often only estimates in general = appear not on all daily BO charts
