The book was an extremely leggy bestseller, so there was definitely potential for the film to be a hit if marketed correctly. Sadly, it hasn't been marketed correctly.

Yeah, I was in Books a Million the other day killing some time and they had this in the bestseller shelf with some other recent adaptations. I think the audience is there for this, but I can't tell if it'll be something where online buzz is reflective of awareness.

This sucks I want the Glass Castle to do well. But there's only 1 trailer with not many views. Only way is maybe if they do a limited release and slowly expand. But I think Open Road is going wide. Snowden all over again

Lionsgate is releasing this, not Open Road.

It is just because only 3 of the 8 reviewer turned a rating (4.5/5, 4/5, 9/10).
