UK+Germany+Italy grossed $147m for Finding Nemo. Maybe these countries sumed up $200m. And Japan has just started. Be patient.

$45.3 million OS for the week. How is that compared to last week?

Pretty sure its lower, considering it did not open in any new market (last week it opened in Japan, Mexico and HK.

$1B WW is still likely for Finding Dory.

This weekend , it made $4M in Mexico so maybe around $10M more from there.

In Japan it made $4.8M for 35% drop. Expect a final total around $60M so $40M left.

Another $11M Elsewhere , I hope they could bring in another $35M.

$25M domestic still on the tank.

Right now it stands at $781M WW so 781 + 25 + 35 + 40 + 10 = $890M ( hope it can reach $900M )

UK + Germany + Italy just need to contribute another $100M. Considering Nemo made around $120M in that market back in 2002 , that would be an easy feat

For Dory.

That's my analysis. How about yours :-)

pixar build their reputation through critically acclaimed original film, yet none of their original films topped $1 billion WW, blame china?

Several movies reached $1B without China or with weak Chinese numbers so probably not.

Pixar is too weak or not well-known in several markets in Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. But it's slowly changing, notably in South Korea and Brazil.

Well, a lot of those movies were made when passing $1 billion was a rare occurrence.

I don't think you can blame China, considering that Toy Story 3Frozen and Minions got past that mark without China.
