Ah, man. When will it expand? I need this in my eyesight ASAP! I'm guessing April 20th? Or was that the original date and it just moved? WrathOfHan
I know the PG-13 rating brought a lot of doom and gloom, but look at the amount of likes on that Twitter video. I'm feeling a breakout tbh.
Jake Gittes
I'll be pleasantly surprised if it does over 30m.

Fantastic Mr. Fox managed that nine years ago when Anderson's career had just passed its lowest point, this time he's coming off his greatest success and it's his fourth movie with great critical reception in a row. I think he has enough of a faithful audience by now to get to a certain gross.

Fantastic Mr. Fox had some helps, Roald Dahl adaptation, Globes/Oscar nomination during the awards seasons, Clooney/Streep doing promos, 93% review level type of reception. Stop animation just got extremely hard to sell, I also think that Anderson + is crew should be enough to push it at 30M if things goes well, it is not easy. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/genres/chart/?id=animationstop.htm&sort=date&order=DESC&p=.htm Even Kubo had a really hard time.
