Been a year since the last message.

Surprised no one else commented here.

It could be a fun family-flick if it has the same pleasantness and charm of the animated series.

We're waiting for the casting news.

I fully expect Aubrey Plaza to get the lead.

I dunno about Aubrey Plaza.

IMO, she's pretty much too old to do the role...........Wait! You don't seriously think this movie could have a more mature rating like PG-13? :P

Cause if you are........then no way at all. :kitschjob:

We're talking about "Dora the Explorer", lol.

Now, now. Let's not get carried over ourselves. :stop:

Making it dark, gritty & sexy doesn't always translate it to being great. It needs to be faithful and give respect to the animated tv-show.

You could have the Dora the Explorer-live action movie be a bit more mature and appealing for the parents....but not JUST for the adults only. ?

What made the animated show & Dora & Friends (to an extend) so fun & appealing to the kids & families, is their charm & innocence that the Dora-franchise was known for.

And if it was rated PG-13......Paramount would have a difficult time of which audiences the film will target to....which would make it confusing & uneven. It's simpler to either have it G or PG, then Paramount will have an easier time marketing this for the families.

If we want this to be a good & fun movie (Maybe a better movie than expected)...then we need it to stay faithful to the animated series.
