Why cool & hip people like to prentend that having a somewhat weak villain is ONLY Marvel thing ?

Yet ANOTHER sign that Fox has reached some kind of deal over Fantastic Four (besides some spoilers in GotG Vol. 2) saw the light of the day today:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4I_htkGJAZ4

Do you guys remember when Marvel used "gifted" to identify Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in Age of Ultron?

Marvel is producing this with Fox. Marvel holds the rights for X-Men characters. Or at least held. I have a very strong feeling that the Fantastic Four are coming for Phase 4. Would the X-Men be that far behind?

No way the X-Men are coming since they are profitable for Fox and especially with Deadpool being one especially, the same for Sony keeping the Spider-Man rights since he very profitable and one of the highest grossing franchise for them. Fantastic Four is a maybe, because Kinberg has said they will continue with a Fantastic Four sequel, and a Silver Surfer movie might come.

Not so sure, everything has is price in a way, Star Wars, Pixar and other Disney acquisition could have probably been profitable without selling to them, different need for money, different ability to generate profit (making a situation that Disney can you give more than what you can realistically ever made with the franchise and still a good deal for Disney because they are better a monetizing franchise), make sale usually for almost anything.

I mean, there is rumor of Disney itself being bought by Apple (a bit of the same for some Sony divisions).

Fox is indeed in a very different situation than Sony. But there are some things to consider. I won't believe that an X-Men film is indeed happening until it is. And while I think that maybe F4 are back home, the X-Men could always work within the MCU similar to how Spider-Man: Homecoming works. I sincerely feel that Fox execs will be paying attention very closely to how Homecoming performs. I wouldn't take for granted the X-Men coming back, and I'm almost certain that the F4 already are. I don't care what Kinberg says btw.

Spoiler

The Watchers, Ego the Living Planet, Ryan openly congratulating GotG Vol. 2, the way that things a lot smoother between Marvel and Fox lead me to think that there's more than meets the eye here.

Well despite the Sony deal they still own the rights to Spider-Man evident by the fact they are making an animated Spider-Man Miles Morales movie and Venom and Silver Sable/Blackcat solo movies that are not set at all in the MCU, while Homecoming is in the MCU. For the Fox side sure they are not in Sony situation, and I'm glad they are getting better with Marvel, but still they want make their own movies, and I think Kinberg is damn serious to make another F4 property like from few months ago.

I doubt these  movies will ever happen. Where there's smoke there's fire, I don't think Bautista was making it up about Marvel reacquiring the rights on that podcast that it was posted the other day. He seemed pretty well informed by the whole situation plus stuff that wasn't flying on anyone's radar before. I wouldn't even be surprised that announcing Venon and Silver Sable / Black Cat was some sort of negotiation tactics to rush some kind of deal with Marvel. Let's see how this story develops some months from now.

Also Feige stated like 6 or 7 months ago that a Fox deal is impossible.

He said something like that about Spider-Man months before Spider-Man getting announced part of the MCU. And here we are.

I would think he is powerful, when Kinberg said to Fox make that Deadpool movie, it did happen (after year's of not happening)

He produced for 5.3 billion at the box office of movies (and credited writer on 3.5b), almost all at Fox.

I think Sony would never give up the rights to Spider-Man by the fact his films are the highest grossing in the top ten list, which means the most popular franchise for them:

Nah. I've been in this game for a while to understand who is powerful and who is a producer trying to keep his job. Kinberg is the latter.

And yet, they had to give up on 007. Sony is crumbling for years now. Other than Spider-Man, which is literally a Marvel Studios production that all they did was literally pay it for, they have nothing. They have Dark Tower and that's it. It's not about not giving it up. I think they are almost to the point they don't really have a say on giving it up or not.
