The whole "woke culture" thing happened after Trump. What about Roseanne?

She had been on conspiracy rants long before she was fired and even before the show was revived, and it took her calling a black woman a monkey for any sort of blowback on the actual show.

And no, it didn't start with Trump. It's only recently people have been facing even a general sense of consequences for their behavior, but criticism of people making sexist, homophobic, and racist statements or actions is not by any means a new thing.

Another Phillips' quote and the only people who post it and triggered/offended by it are famously "woke" users like Ororo and SpiderByte, which proves again that Todd is right.

It's truly no wonder why Todd Phillips appeals to someone like you.

I guess I can see why Phillips likes Joker so much. An unfunny white guy mad at society must come closer from the vest than he's willing to let on.

Who decides what is funny ?

YOu ?

The PolitBuro ?

The Propagandastaffel ?

Shockingly the man who inflicted the Hangover trilogy on the world doesn't know what makes good comedy.

Good god.....

It goes much far than that too, for example : https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/jonathan-friedland-exits-netflix-1122675

Comedian stand up are a form artistic acts, they are in characters/clown, they are not statements.

Based on the quality of the comedies he's made its certainly not Todd Phillips.

Rank Title (click to view) Studio Worldwide Domestic / % Overseas / % Year
1 The Hangover Part II WB $586.8 $254.5 43.4% $332.3 56.6% 2011
2 The Hangover WB $467.5 $277.3 59.3% $190.2 40.7% 2009
3 The Hangover Part III WB $362.0 $112.2 31% $249.8 69% 2013

With some people starting to talk has if Louis CK isn't up there as arguably the best comedian of the 21th century in the anglo-saxon world, judgement on quality of comedies is going down.

Hangover was a great comedy (virtually everyone I know really liked it and the sequel OW seem to indicate that it was a very shared sentiment).

Hangover 1 was great, 2 was good but 3rd is not funny at all. Idk what happened to him when he made the 3rd movie but boy that is very boring movie

I'm talking about actually being good, not the box office.

On Rotten Tomatoes the film has an (snipped)

Conspicuously ignoring the other two films in the series which are definitely not as positive.

Well certainly I hope not one ever thought I was suggesting the sequel were any good, I was obviously talking about the first one.
