It isn't morbid or problematic and doesn't deserve the kind of controversy its getting (this ain't the modern day A Clockwork Orange it was hyped up to be). But people here call it extremely depressing and dark. The movie is pretty aggressive with its tone and basically hits you with a sledgehammer every second.

 

Honestly, Harmony Korine should've made this film.

Haven't seen Joker yet but Aquaman is the best post-Nolan DC movie and the second best SH movie of 2018 (#1 Infinity War). No one will convince me otherwise. 

 

Also, Momoa is the most charismatic SH lead since RDJ.

If people think that creating a panic over possible mass shootings because of a damn comic book movie is supposed to be entertaining, then I’ve officially lost all hope in humanity.
