Ah yes, I remember that connection, not sure at all how it is relevant at all in the conversation ? Coppolla would be a cannibal serial murderer himself, why would it matter here ?

It doesnt matter to the conversation,i agree. What i'm saying is,  i cant't blame anyone for discounting anything he says, regardless of the validity. Thats how society has always treated heinous people and those who support them. It is what it is.

It matters because of the sudden pearl clutching over the idea of someone defending Bob Iger. It also shows how grossly ridiulous and hypocritcal Coppola sounds when he uses words like "despicable" to describe movies.

I’ve never heard anything but good things from all the people who have worked with Snyder over the years, did I miss some articles or something about him? I can understand not liking his movies which is fine but he seems like a decent enough person.

Even if you think their work is far superior, Black Panther is no less an example of cinema. Indeed, it's one of the best examples of why Coppola and Scorsese are dead wrong about comic book movies. 

 

 

 

Yeah one can complain the lesser MCU films offer no cinematic value really a bit. 

 

 

However Black Panther had some real themes and messages that really resonated with audiences.

It was so predictable and obvious for Iger to use Black Panther for defense of Marvel movies, becouse it's perfect shield, you can’t really attack or critcisize this movie, especially if you are a public person, it's not politically correct.

I have blasted Snyder as a director..frankly, I don't like most of his films...but I have never attacked his personal life because I have never heard anything bad about it.
