I would.

The CW juggled multiple shows and created their own shared universe using throwaway characters with their very own 'Endgame'. All while getting cockblocked by WB at every turn

That’s the thing, even if you don’t love/ like any/all the shows you have to respect what they’ve done with the CW crossover events and the way they’ve built the universe into a money making machine for the network.

It’s definitely not at the mcu level of financial success or storytelling but these shows have small budgets and have done well with what they’ve had to work with imo.

It's literally just a poor man's imitation of the MCU, there's nothing impressive about it.

You don’t have to be impressed, but you don’t speak for everyone. It’s impressive to me what they’ve done and many people enjoy the shows so they must be doing something right.

I get that it’s not your cup of tea and completely respect that but you have to understand that WB is a business and this makes them money, and people obviously watch the shows or else we wouldn’t see spin offs in the works.

The CWverse is the most consistently liked and financial successful connected universe that DC has. It’s not on the same scale as the MCU nor my cup of tea, but it’s got an impressive scale and holds together reasonably well.

Just saw "The Irishman". Overall reaction:

Image result for rupaul meh gif"

Ending kinda made me sob cuz I don't wanna grow old and alone but it was waaay to long with so many useless scenes. The pacing kinda reminds me of "Better Call Saul". It honestly should have been a mini-series.

CWverse is liked by soccer moms and teen girls

There's nothing wrong with making things for teen girls, stuff like Mean Girls and Booksmart is on a level of quality far higher than the CWverse

This is true. Booksmart was hilarious and Mean Girls is iconic. CW just can't make a good show to save their life!

Both Mean Girls and Booksmart are better than 90% of CBMs

Grace Randolph already denied the click-bait Variety report:

She's courting the Snyder Cut hopefuls.  Once you realize she's one of those people who is so deep into Twitter that it skews all of her viewpoints many of her takes and "information" start to ... well, make more sense at least.   It trended so she'll see how many subs she can mine from that particular pocket of disaffected fans.

Well Leftovers had great reviews too, but it had awful ratings during its entire short run - and won 0 Emmy. You seemed confused about Warner's decision but the explanation is simple: Berlanti has made literally billions of dollars for them over the years.

Berlanti and his shows are the epitome of mediocrity (at best). Sure he's successful but it's not as if the standards are high, whether we're talking quality or ratings.

Like we can really take Josh Trank's opinion seriously, given you could leave a bunch of drunk teenage boys alone and they still wouldn't leave as much of a disaster in their wake as he reportedly did.

Yup, you're sooo cultured and above the rest of us aren't you Josh?

You know what all these MCU critics just don't get for the life of them? These movies are based on comic books! They aren't original films. People aren't necessarily looking for what they would in other original, more grounded and worldly films. There's a point to these superhero movies and that is that they are our beloved comic book characters and events coming to life! You think anyone gives a shit how nuanced and artistic these films are? No! None of us - even the MCU's most passionate fans - are comparing these films against The Godfather or something. These auteur directors are the only ones doing that.

That's a weird thing to say since Watchmen is based on a comic book and is doing more bold, interesting things than the MCU ever has
