Pirates 4 is fun - It's just very forgettable kind of fun and doesn't fit much with the trilogy that came before it.

Pirates 1 is very good. Pirates 2 is a masterpiece and I will KILL anyone who says otherwise. Pirates 3 is bloated as hell, but still considerably more watchable than today's average blockbuster. Pirates 4 is one of the most inept big budgted movies ever made.

I'm a teenager and saw the first 3 Pirates. Never got around to see On Stranger Tides.

I only watched Pirates 1 and 2, never bothered with 3 or 4 (although I'll probably watch them before seeing 5 in theaters).
