Probably because there still hasn't been a movie with the Hulk as the lead.   They did a couple of Banner movies instead.  Not exactly a gripping character.   Maybe Thor 3 will change that routine.

$10 million for MOS. Imagine how much he made with all the DCEU movies together. He not only directed BVS and JL, but also wrote and produced Wonder Woman, and was executive producer on Suicide Squad. And he will also made a lot of money in plenty of future DCEU movies. And there's also Deborah Snyder who is a producer in all these movies. The Snyders are fucking reach!

I'd say under 250M$ for JL was a strong possibility before WW opened.  I just don't see JL opening to less than 125M$ and having worse legs than BvS. There will be too much goodwill from WW.
