Fanboy Wars Thread: Personal Attacks not allowed | With Digital Fur Technology

A critically acclaimed "Avengers 2.5" film should've opened over $200 mil. A critically acclaimed "Avengers 2.5" film should've grossed more than Iron Man 3. A critically acclaimed "Avengers 2.5" film should've had greater than a 2.3 multiplier.

The thought that any movie "should" open to 200+ mill is ludicrous. 3 movies have done it ever and it its entirely possible that no other movie save for Star Wars will touch that mark again in the near future. The fact that some fans and so called 'analysts' got carried away with their predictions doesnt mean a freaking 400/1.2 bill box office is anything less than great

But it's not Avengers 2.5. It's the 3rd Captain America film. The entire structure of the film is completely different to any Avengers film.

Typical Marvel fanboys can't accept that their movie disappointed too. What sad lives y'all lead.

What's really sad is your desperate attempt to spin a successful, billion-dollar movie as a disappointment because you're a bitter little person. So the movie you pinned your hopes and dreams on sucked. Get over it. There's more to life than pathetically trolling for attention because your favorite studio let you down (again).

BVS and CW will be hitting $410 million at the same time. Legends!!

There is another franchise that has never even sniffed $400M in 16 years. Shame!

There is no spin. I didn't say it wasn't a success. But to deny that an opening just above IM3, finishing below IM3, and having under a 2.3 multiplier is disappointing. This film heavily marketed 10+ heroes, SPIDER MAN, IRON MAN, BLACK PANTHER, CAPTAIN AMERICA, had one of the best critical ratings of ANY Marvel movie. For any sane person, this should've done > Avengers 2.

It could finish above IM3

OVERSATURATION of the genre.

LOL Chipmunky has gone off the deep end. I guess that's what happens when day after day, you get more and more bad news from DC.

Anyways, the title of this thread is Marvel Vs DC. The winner was declared months ago when BvS turned up a shitty 28% on RT and a 69% drop.
