Perhaps Marvel isn't flying cause it isn't to her advantage in that situation.

Maybe, I don't know wait to see what becomes..obvious before ad hoc ridicule of a single frame of film.

I am not watching every material (that spoiler heavy), but that seem to be a case of when the movie start she barely know she has special power to having all of them in the third act battle scene in space.

She is wearing the Green Lantern costume in that scene.

She doesn't become Super Saiyan before she wears the blue/red suit. It looks like her power level will increase tremendously during the movie.

The movie is set in 1995, while Space Jam was released in 1996.

 

So the likely answer is that she couldn't believe she could fly yet.
