I hate Rocky IV - it's pretty easily my least favorite - and liked Creed II a whole bunch. I don't think it's quite as good as Creed (I think that film is exceptional), but it's really good on its own. Tessa Thompson is phenomenal in it.

This is the only movie I am excited to see between now and the end of the year. Not to say that I won't see pretty much every movie that's coming out but this is the only one that is a guaranteed must see for me.

Everything about this feels like a fever dream.

Aside from the robot servant and hazy porn like lighting of the first act, Rocky IV is a pretty damn entertaining piece of pulp sports entertainment. Hearts on Fire's montage is not to be meddled with either. That being said, Creed 2 SHOULD be better. Creed Jr. has a stronger impetus to make this fight happen than Rocky vs Drago Sr., which makes the audience more invested right out the gate.

I dunno.........?  Another one in the same franchise??   If Creed 2 earns well, this would be consistent with what has been shown over the years.
