Disappointing Coogler won't direct this. He was an integral part in why Creed was such a breath of fresh air for the series, and I'd love to see what he would do with growing the characters.

Interesting that WB has two films released within days of each other but I assume Creed 2 and FB2 can easily co-exist.

 

I reckon things like Creed and bigger tentpoles will probably remain with bigger studios, the Annapurna/MGM deal only covers domestic so they'll need to find partners to distribute OS.

I too would have liked to see Coogler back behind the camera...Stallone is old now.  He still has great vision of course, but letting someone else do the heavy lifting for this series would be better imo.

I read this in William Hurt's voice from the Incredible Hulk, when Tim Roth ill-advised decided to fight the Hulk with super soldier serum and he said the same thing.

 

Unfortunately nobody cares about that movie so I assume the gif doesn't exist.
