IMHO it depends a lot on translation quality, which other films are released shortly before and after,... exchange rate too and... we will see OW multiplier Ant-Man was nearly times 4 (similar OW), but for CA 3 it was only 2,3+. Nothing wrong with 650 range You have been here long enough to know how box office works. Thor the Dark world made just under $20M in the remainder of its run from this point. just that and $10M from Japan + the rest of Argentina is $646M with the rest of the world making $0 beyond yesterday. Domestic has been doing better than Thor: the Dark World since just after that first weekend. $10M for Japan and the rest of Argentina's run is a pretty conservative estimate. Even with poor holds, the rest of the world (everything other than DOM, Japan and Argentina) can't miss $15M given nearly $9M this weekend. How much more for the overseas territories still in release? $10M? Add $7-12M for Japan to that, assuming no real breakout. $675M could still happen, but it will be close. I think at least $665M is fairly safe, even if legs are not all that great from this point forward.

Japan I thik so too (7 to 8m with a hope for +), there might be only a chance for more than $12m if the Japanese too like Cumberbatch as much as a lot of Chinese females seem to like him. I do not know about local competition or other co-releases... then neither. I just realised: there is a slight possibility for DS to surpass Man of Steel's ww ($668m). Shudder to think about the reactions of a few DC fanatics (= not fans) I know in a way
