Ozymandias
Is this what happens when people have been waiting 35 years for Episode 7 and a good Star Wars movie? Anyway, 180m 2nd weekend is my prediction if tomorrow's Christmas eve drop is a "normal" or better than expected one.

At this rate, JW won't even be able to lay claim to the highest gross in a calendar year. JW is gonna be fine It is still the 2nd biggest hit of this decade.

Tau Ceti
If they move Episode 8 to Christmas 2047 we should have our first 5 billion dollar grosser. North America alone.

Lordmandeep
SW7 becomes third biggest movie of 2015 domestically in 6 days. If this was 2014, it already be number 1.
Jayhawk the Hutt
This is seriously fucking awesome. We'll never see this level of performance again. These records are going to last decades.
CJohn
We all know everything for the next 3 months will flop. This is what happens when a monster blockbuster happens. It happened with Jurassic World and Avengers. BvS will be the next big opener (I am not even discussing numbers here, lets just agree with a 135-205M range to appease everyone and be done with it). Until then all I see are underperformers and flops.
grey ghost
We should've seen this coming when nostalgia pushed JW to astronomical numbers. TFA has nostalgia pushed to levels never seen before.
