Also it'd be sitting at ~900M by next Sunday.
baumer
It's pretty funny when it just destroyed another record and most of you are like, "yea, that's ok." Lol, spoiled, you have become.

mrqe93
Total for Monday + Tuesday + Wednesday = $115 million? Quite funny to think that was the record breaking number for opening weekend in 2002.
Lordmandeep
It's at 391 million dollars before the weekend bro. Guys this number is crazy... This seems absurd but a 140 million 2nd weekend is pretty much locked. Meaning 530+ by Sunday is assured. In retrospect it took TA 4 weeks to do that. darthdevidem01
I must say guys if you haven't have a closer look at how this film is doing in the UK have a peek! It's performance there is even more impressive than this! It has already outgrossed 4/8 of HP films, any twilight/hunger games film, the avengers, TDK's ENTIRE run respective runs!!!!!!! I know he's not much of a SW fan, but I'm sure he'd love the box-office insanity. I wonder if he's checking the numbers from India. Was way too tied up with sister's wedding prep the past 2 weeks, barely had time to think. Finally done with everything today with a great ceremony and reception. The Star Wars numbers are insane, will try to catch it sometime in the coming week as time permits. Still in India through the new year, but will probably be on here slightly more frequently since I will hopefully have more free time (assuming literally every relative doesn't invite us over )

Glad all's well over there. Yes, hope to see you here more often during this legendary run (and interested to see your review when you finally see it). Don't know when I will watch it yet, Star Wars isn't exactly a huge event in India, it has its fans in the major metros but may as well be a foreign language movie in most of India. Contrast this with the local movies, last week 15 people from our family who had come early to help with the wedding prep and all went to watch the local Bollywood movie together as the family movie outing. I think TFA can do decent numbers here, but it is no Jurassic World or Fast & Furious yet.
