I was hoping for like $95 or so if it wasn't going to do 100 million, but oh well. What can ya do? ??? Beat the old 3rd weekend record by 32% (and reached the $90m milestone for that) Beat the old January and the Winter season biggest weekend record at it's 3rd weekend. Btw, the previous holder of that record was the OW of a small, unknown movie named... American Sniper (ironical meant) My advice: don't expect the daily record breaks, after a while into a run there are not a lot left anyway. Not aggressively / pushingly (term?) meant, I really think such POV like you seem to have might be a set up for disappointment. Expect more drops, as Monday still had some students... out of school, people have in January usually no money, need to spread out the enjoyment related spendings a bit, work... (X-Mas presents, holiday trips, yearly paid insurance...), but some got tickets as X-Mas present, not all have spend too much,... slow January weeks, nicer weekends (but not comparable) a bit better during MLK weekend....

It will be my first time seeing it alone and my 5th time seeing it in theaters. Reserved a D-BOX seat for only $5! (Discount Tuesday) Should be a fun ride. Never tried D-BOX before. You know, I've never tried a D-Box. I wonder what it is like? Are there any theaters in NY that have it?

This needs to find a stable drop zone soon or I will start sweating 900mil. We are now equal to avatar (Avatar did 8 mil on the same day). After this point we should start bleeding some of the 390 mil lead over Avatar. Once that number gets to 240 1 bil is dead as a doornail. Right now I would will just be happy when it becomes the 1st movie to cross 900 million, and then makes some cash on top of that (maybe as high as 930-50 tops). I guess people are already giving up on the 1 billion dollar dream, then? Shame! I still think there is hope. Its definitely looking more likely that it won't happen, but there is a chance.
