Tele's Year in Movies - 2015 | Epic conclusion on page 4

I thought I'd do something a little different than just doing a post countdown. I tend not to be as verbose and eloquent as others with their movie write-ups, and after all, what better way to illustrate the movies than, er, show them? Or, at least, bits of them.

 

So this year I'm doing a few videos, incorporating footage from all the movies I saw. This first video is a quick (and hopefully fun) look at 2015 in general, leading into a few honorable mentions that didn't quite make my list, and then my picks for 15-11. My top ten will be a separate video, coming soon.

 

Most of the shots should be pretty recognizable to everyone here, but I'm interested to see if anyone can spot them all. I hope you enjoy!

I would like to know which films #2 & 4 are, plus the lady with the goggles @0:26 and the fight scene @0:37? I think I got rest.

THAT WAS BRILLIANT, Tele. LOVED the vid. Music was spot on, The opera with the kingsman slow mo and tom hardy shot nice. Waiting for the rest.

That makes sense, when I saw the Hateful 8 cutting he did there was no way he hasn't spent over 5000hours editing.

@The Stingray, which ones do you mean by #2 and 4? The lady with the goggles is from an indie sci-fi movie called ADVANTAGEOUS, and the 0:37 fight is from KINGSMAN.

Ah, okay, they're THE REVENANT and SAN ANDREAS. I wasn't sure if you were counting the keyboard insert or not.

 

I had the idea last week, but I haven't had a lot of free time. It's been the odd hour here and there in the evenings. Maybe 8-10 hours, including the other video(s) to come and the tedious stuff like downloading trailers, making music selects, rendering, etc.

Most impressive, but I'm sure Michael Kahn would have pulled it off a lot quicker.
