Here you get the opportunity to gamble your hard earned points on ummm... more hard earned points. Below you will see 5 big fight matchups and their relative odds beside them. You are allowed to bet up to 10,000 of your own money per matchup on the match outcomes. Winnings will differ depending on the odds given. If you lose, you lose the amount of points that you bet. Minimum bet is 1000 points and bets must be made in multiples of 1000. Total winnings will be rounded up to the nearest 1000. There is no requirement to bet on every matchup. chasmmi Posted January 31, 2016 Author Share Posted January 31, 2016 Short explanation of odds to those that don't know this system: If odds are written as say 5/1, the left number is the potential win and the right is the bet. When then right hand number is higher, you stand to win more than double your stake. So in the above instance a bet of 1 point will win back 5 points. The bet value itself is not included in those winnings so the total return will be 6 points. When something is written like 7/2, it is to avoid ugly decimals like 3.5/1. Other than this it is the same. A bet of 2 points will win back 9 (7+2 the original points bet). Any bet of a value different from 2 will return winnings based on a ratio of the bets value and 2. If odds are written as 'evens', it means the potential winnings are the same as the bet (essentially double your money). Odds written as 1/2, where the right hand number is higher mean that you stand to win less than double your stake. In this instance a bet of 2 points will give you a return of 3 points (your original 2 point bet plus 1 point in winnings). As this is possibly still going to be clear as mud to some people, below are the matchups with their odds again and in bold, will be written the potential winnings based on a maximum 10000 point bet. The figures below WILL NOT INCLUDE the staked points, only the profit you stand to make.
