There were rumours that the family signed off on that. I’d like to think it’s just to have him for the final BBQ scene (which would be fine imo) and not a main character again…but who knows.

Outside of Atomic Blonde, David Leitch’s films have been just awful (Bullet train looks fun though so maybe he just turns off for franchise films). F8 was meh but it was well directed, wouldn’t be opposed to F Gary Gray.

Didn't Leitch direct Hobbs & Shaw? Thought Vin wasn't really a fan of that movie's existence, not sure he'd be game for bringing that guy on board.
