"The Fast and the Furious" franchise's box office perspective

The Fast and Furious movies once dropped below 160 m worldwide.Now the movies pass 600 m WW on a regular basis.Is this the biggest comeback for a movie franchise?

The Toretto/O'Conner saga has to come to an end sometime. I have a hard time believing they'll push their story past 9.

The fact that the comeback has been sustained for 3 films after the 3 original films is the most impressive part about it. Most franchises crash and burn permanently by the time #3 rolls around, let alone #6.

 

James Bond and it's Brosnan comeback should also get a mention.

Nothing wrong with that 5 and 6 took a different direction and  expand its appeal to different audience. I like it. FF needs more love

I would say Dom AND Paul. Paul walker is definitely a big part in this franchise.
