But below are some other movies OD presales 7 days out Fantastic Beasts - 0.569m Justice League - 1.5m Thor Ragnarok - 1.55m Ant Man 2 - 4.81m Venom - 6.38m These movies had higher shows at this point because they had been running for a few days compared to Aquaman which just started today. So we will see how it behaves over the next few days. Right now Justice League seems the best comparison as it started out 8 days before release, had similar show count 7 days out as well as similar OD PS 7 days out. I saw a comparison to Venom earlier. Well Venom opened its PS with much higher numbers than Aquaman, almost double in fact. Below are its numbers at the end of its first day. Not sure but most probably because it must have gotten it release license recently. Anyways it doesn't really matter how many days of PS run a movie has towards its final presales. The Mummy last year for example had only 5 days of presales compared with 13 days for GoTG2, 11 days for Thor Ragnarok and 9 days for Justice League but still ended with a higher final PS. CA3 had only 10 days of PS run but still ended up higher than Jurassic World 2 which had a 22 day PS run. Aquaman has had good reception so far in China according to Gavin, and its the first blockbuster after Venom which would be nearly a month from Aquaman, so I expect a good run both PS wise and actual gross wise. It also doesnt have any significant hollywood competition for at least 2-3 weeks as I dont expect Grinch and Spiderverse to do that well in China. 3 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
