I imagine there will be a restriction on how many showings each theatre are allowed, or perhaps a restriction on which theatres are even allowed to show it. It should be added to actual box office, since people still paid and saw the movie. It's just used to build hype and wom. Yes there are previews next Saturday and Sunday. Currently about 250 showings on Saturday but only about 30 or so on Sunday. As for opening, its too early to tell plus we do not know if the movie is good or not or how its WoM will be (I know social media reviews so far have been outstanding but still). It could go the way of Bumblebee and have a mediocre run and a low final PS or have an explosive run. The stupid trade war is also fucking up the ER which has increased quite a lot over the past few days. If it doesnt normalize, it will depress the gross in USD. Overall I would say 65m on the low end and 95m on the high end based on numbers so far. I know thats a big range but as I said it's still too early so lets wait and see how the response is to those limited previews.
