I’m almost hoping it’s rotten just so it’s different than other stuff we’ve gotten in the MCU.

Taskmaster being bad isn't that much of a surprise tbh. Would have been a lot more worried if the comments were that Natasha/Yelena aren't served well. The MCU has always been stronger with heroes than villains. Anyway if the embargo is lifting this early (is there a source for this?) then it surely won't be rotten.

There's no reason to be rotten. If positives are somewhat midling, it's going to be "nice to know but not an essential entry" sentiment more than anything else.

I remember the very weird several hours where First Avenger was at 20% because for whatever reason, despite the fact that the embargo lifted and the reviews were largely positive, basically only the negative reviews got uploaded first and it took forever for the other critics to upload theirs. I'd that had happened today there'd be 500 conspiracy videos about how Disney bribed RT or some shit

Reading through Twitter reactions, seems like perfectly normal good reactions for a Marvel movie. Actually the later reactions are better than I expected given that the early reactions were a bit less positive than usual.

Early reactions were strong too. There were 2 tweets that everyone focused on that were negative and that was it.

While checking sales of film, on a cinema website, got my eyes on synopsis (I usually don't read them). Now I know more about film than any of trailers showed. Knowing that, guess film will do fine.
