Taipei OD 27% lower than F7.

I think F7 did $25m in Taiwan. So its not surprising that F8 dropped. is F7 still the all time record holder there?

Slight decline. The exchange rate won't help it in USD though..

Early estimates show China’s Friday box office at $55.2M (that is not included in the $82.2M gross). If that estimate holds, it will be the biggest opening day of all time in China for a film as well as the biggest single-day box office in the Middle Kingdom and the biggest Friday ever.

More from Deadline; It had the biggest opening day in 11 markets — Argentina, Colombia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Israel, Lebanon, Malaysia, Peru, Portugal and U.A.E. In addition, it enjoyed the biggest opening of all the previous franchise films in 25 markets, including Germany, Italy, Korea and Mexico.
The film also nows holds the studio’s best in 14 territories, including Argentina, Colombia, Germany, and Mexico.

Spain OD (Thursday): €1.7m

F7 opened to €1.9m (Thursday too). 4-day weekend was €5.9m. About 10% decrease relative to 7th part.

I think this on track to a billion overseas right?

It's on track for at least 600 from US and China combined (600 is conservative).

So needs 400 more. F7 did 742 in OS-China.

Even if F8 drops by 45% from that, it will make it to 400+ OS-China.
