I wish Queen and Jada's onscreen reunion was in something that looked better. Set it Off is a cult classic. This is good counterprogramming for black females so I'd say 22 ow/ 60m domestic

I pretty much agree with that prediction. My original domestic total was around 75M I think.

Very confused as to why they started out the marketing for this exclusively with a very tame red-band. First predicts:

 

OW: 21M

DOM: 58M

This is the most underpredicted movie of the summer IMO. There's nothing else really targeting females other than Rough Night (which will be over a month old by then) all summer long, the premise has plenty of appeal to non-black audiences, the trailer slays every single time I've seen it before a movie, the summer is in dire need of a comedy breakout, and there are no comedies opening after it until The Hitman's Bodyguard, which won't hurt it much (plus I feel like Universal wouldn't have placed this in the heart of the summer if they weren't extremely confident in it). It's doing $100M+ for sure.

 

$28M opening, $115M total.
