Presales at my theather (in Brazil) are very bad, with 5 showtimes for previews, it only sell 36 tickets

Really don’t know what happened, even Shazam did very good on presales here.

Still have no idea what to expect from this movie either in reviews or at the box office, so it will be exciting to follow. So far the Internet hype seems similar to Shazam or a bit lower, which would be in line with tracking but lower than my early expectations (~$200M DOM).

Pre-sales numbers are off to a great start, with numbers pointing to a very least $8m at previews alone, if it gets good reviews today, it may even increase to around $10m+.

At this point, I'd say that a $70m/$200m+ DOM is locked. Another huge win for DC and the Cinema in 2020.

Isn't Brazil a huge market for DC? Even Justice League did well there.

A late start to the ticket sales maybe the reason that is off to a great start. It may slow down later. Something to keep an eye on obviously.

Presales aren't particularly great here but I'm hoping things will pick up. I've decided to see it at IMAX, but I'm not sure if anyone will come with me yet. Will have to ask around and see but I don't mind going by myself if necessary. At least it sounds like the US presales are going good, I've been waiting for them so we can get some numbers on it, so I'm glad they're finally on sale.

I haven't seen a ton of promo around here, a few posters, a couple of TV spots (which is rare for me to see, so I always get excited when I catch them) and I just had an ad on Spotify for it, so fingers crossed that helps. This does remind me that last week I was talking to a co-worker who goes to see CBMs and asked him if he was going to see BoP. He initially didn't know what I was talking about but when I said it had Harley in it he thought it was SS2.  I cleared it up for him and told him when it was releasing, so I should check back with him and see if he goes to see it.

I think they are comparing this to Joker, which also had a late start.I think.

yes, all DC movies are very big here, except Shazam which suffer a lot because of CM / EG
