Obviously a lot of ifs. I think there is a chance WW could gross more than JL. especially because I think it's going to gross a ton regardless of how good it is. because well, it's Wonder Woman. so if it's bad... I could be wrong of course, but I think it's DEADPOOL II. I think Fox won't release a non-sequel there given how January has been considered as a "dumping ground." It s a different era now I think, market place for the genre is overcrowded, any superhero movie doing 400m or more than 350m will be rarefied air.
The Futurist
Deadpool is probably 2018, there is no good remaining release date for it in 2017. Dunkirk is the only original big blockbuster in 2017 ? Geez ... Also, no love for Valeyrian ? Infidels ! Star Wars number one movie in America until the year we all die ? Likely.

WW won't have that big an affect on JL as most people, even those that disliked BvS, thought she was pretty good/solid in it. Even if I enjoy the WW movie it's not going to make me want to see JL. Also, EP8 will not make less than 750m, which would be a bigger drop than AOTC had from TPM! Personally, I think it's hitting 800m. AOTC made 310m. That is a 28% drop. Apply that to SW7/SW8 and you get 673m. And that is pretty much my prediction for it. 700m max. SW7 had a huge amount of nostalgia on it's side, plus the promise of the first "good" SW movie since the orginals. SW8 will already be the 3rd SW movie in a 2 years time frame. It was basically the perfect storm. And 700M would still be the third highest DOM title ever.
