He's not a bad actor. In fact, I liked and even loved some of his previous movies. At least, he won't need to work like crazy, like Michael Madsen or Eric Roberts. Do these guys even sleep? Roberts has 44 movies this year. lol

Let's take each case individually :x2 was a good movie and it's not the nerds' fault that singer bailed out to go and direct a shitty superman movie 

 

spider man 2 was a great movie and it's not the nerds' fault that Sony forced Reimi to completely abandon his spider man 3 , with Ben Kingsley already cast as the vulture , and make a movie that was more a studio film than a director's one .

 

TASM was an awful movie and all the nerds were predicting that Webb would ruin the franchise . How is it the nerds' fault that TASM2 turned even worse than TASM ? 

 

Actually the the nerds seem to have a better insight than the suits . See how the colorful, comic books brought to the big screen , marvel movies are bringing the $$$$ ?

They don't care. If they could they would probably move Dory to next weekend just to ensure this thing would drop 70% plus to never be seen again.

Will be interesting to see if it is front loaded. It earned 9.3M WW OD and 7M on its second day despite day 2 being a Friday. Already looks like the fans went out to watch it on OD. The Saturday increase will tell the story.
