No Elfman! I guess both have assisted Elfman and worked on previous Burton produced and/or directed stuff so maybe they'll do an okay job. But, fuck, come on, man.

Elfman was going to score this but once it's release date got pushed back it clashed with the scoring sessions for Alice Through the Looking Glass.

That's... Depressing. Wasted on Alice 2. Hopefully he consulted with the two dudes scoring it. Honestly, I'd be surprised if they didn't consult with him.

I think Alice 2 is one of Elfman's best ever scores so I'm not too sour.

 

I'd rather Burton had gone with Desplat or Newman or something. I'd imagine these guys are going to be trying to sound like Elfman which will not work.
